Child Privacy Disclosure for CrunchLabs' Build a Rocket Roblox Experience
This Children’s Privacy Disclosure describes how CrunchLabs LLC (“CrunchLabs,” “we,” “us,” or “our” handles personal information we collect from children under the age of 13 for our Build a Rocket Sweepstakes (the “Promotion” or “Sweepstakes”) and supplements our Privacy Policy.
What Personal Information Do We Collect From Children for the Sweepstakes?
For a child to participate in the Sweepstakes, we collect the following personal information: the child’s name, email address and Roblox username, parent’s name, parent’s email address, certain activity and device information and identifiers (such as cookies, device serial numbers, and IP addresses (collectively, "Child Personal Information"). Additionally, the service provider we use to verify the child parent’s consent for us to collect Child Personal Information will collect additional personal information from the parent, as disclosed in the service provider’s privacy notice.
How Do We Use Children’s Personal Information?
We use Child Personal Information to obtain parental consent for the child to participate in the the Sweepstakes and to operate the Sweepstakes. We may use the Child Personal Information to verify the child’s participation in the Sweepstakes and to communicate with the child and/or parent about the results of the Sweepstakes.
How and When We May Disclose Children’s Personal Information?
Service Providers. We may disclose Child Personal Information to service providers we use to provide the Services or to provide support for the internal operations of the services. For example, we use Kids Web Services (KWS), a service offered by our subsidiary SuperAwesome, for parent/guardian and user age verification purposes. SuperAwesome will remember that you have verified your age the next time you use your email address to access other games/services powered by SuperAwesome’s technology, so that you won’t need to verify again. Comply with a Legal Obligation. We may disclose Child Personal Information if we are required to do so by law or legal process, such as to comply with any court order or subpoena or to respond to a valid government or regulatory request.
Safety. We may disclose Child Personal Information if we believe the disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers or others, including to:
- protect the safety of a child;
- protect the safety and security of our services; or
- enable us to take precautions against liability.
Merger. We may disclose Child Personal Information if we are involved in a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding or event, we may transfer the Children’s personal information it has collected or maintain to the buyer or other successor.
Consent. We may disclose Child Personal Information for any other purpose you consent to.
What Choices Do I Have?
At any time, you may choose to review the Child Personal Information that we have collected, require us to correct or delete the Child Personal Information, and/or refuse to permit us from further collecting or using the Child Personal Information of your child. Please keep in mind that a request to delete records may lead to ineligibility to complete the Sweepstakes.
